My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, though needing some refurbishment, were comfortable. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were some unexpected charges. The location was fantastic, surrounded by trendy spots and close to many attractions. Dining had a good variety, but service could be improved. The facilities were good, but some aspects need attention.

The service has its ups and downs, with some promptness but also mishaps. The location is convenient for exploring, although not perfect for all activities. The dining experience is decent, with room for improvement. Overall, a mixed experience.

I found the hotel to be a bit dated by other Asian standards but clean. Considering this is a 5-star hotel with many foreigners who are mainly from the west, and maps are in English, the room felt outdated, like something from the 80s. It definitely does not deserve a 5-star rating; I would barely give it a 3.

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The room, although a bit old-fashioned, was spacious and had all the amenities expected from a five-star hotel. The service was helpful despite some lapses in attention. The location was convenient, situated in the bustling shopping district of Shanghai. The dining experience offered a wide selection of food, though it did not stand out compared to other luxury hotels.

The hotel is excellently located for walking, shopping, sightseeing, and accessing the subway. The rooms, while spacious with a king-size bed, have an outdated 1980s decor in cream and brown colors. The service is efficient, with friendly staff who are easy to communicate with, although early morning room deliveries were not appreciated. The variety of dining options is extensive, catering to both Western and Asian tastes, but may not compare favorably with other high-end hotels. The location is great with proximity to popular shopping areas and eateries like Krispy Kreme and Marks & Spencers.

The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseers and Westerners, right on the bustling Nanjing Lu street with easy access to the subway. The rooms are spacious with a lovely view, but they do show signs of age, especially the bathrooms. The service is always willing to help, offering directions and even writing them in Chinese. The dining options are varied, with a decent selection, and the daily breakfast is enjoyable. However, the Wi-Fi services in the rooms need a serious update, reminiscent of the technology from the early '90s.

I found the hotel to be conveniently located, offering both pros and cons. The rooms were clean and spacious, albeit showing signs of wear. The service was mixed with promptness in some areas but lacking training in others. The central location, while vibrant, presented challenges for tourists, although it was close to top shopping spots. The dining experience was decent, but not exceptional.
